Dhule District of Maharashtra

  1. Zalawadi Goat Breed Development Companies established in Malpur, District Dhule, Maharashtra

The Zalawadi goat is an established breed in this existing agro climatic zone since 150 years. Yet no efforts have been taken to make improvements in the breed, hence people do not get the required benefits out of the goat rearing business. It’s very much essential to upgrade the goat scientifically genetically for making the improvements profitable to the poor farmers. And that’s the aim of the company.
The established goat milking business has to be supported with the following program simultaneously:
    1) Health Program 2) Feed Program 3) Genetic Improvement Program.
This project is located in Malpur, Dhule about the benefits derived from the genetic improvements in the breed. The company has 12 directors, male-female together and 200 shareholders who are mainly the residents of the eight villages.

  2. Boradi Tribal Women Agro Products and Goat Milk companies in Boradi, Shirpur, District Dhule, Maharashtra

A company integrated with the former company is established in Boradi, Taluka Shirpur in the same district. This company will inclusively look after the entire process from the production of the animal feed to dairy process of the goat. Today as a matter of fact goat milk doesn’t prevail in market though it is a healthy option for cow milk or buffalo milk. Our aim is to give goat milk a recognition in dairy market along with its medicinal properties. This company consists of 12 farmer women directors and 500 shareholders who are all the members of the Rural Self Help Groups from 10 villages. Both these companies are under the incorporation process with ROC and the women directors also are under training for communication skills and digital literacy. In Malpur project currently we have reached upto nearly 3000 goats milking upto 4000 liters of milk at the initial stage. We are anticipating more members for the company and work on genetic development in a scientific way whereby we can collect 10,000 liters of milk daily

The data collection of the places is under process.

India is a land of Agricultural diversity and is anciently known as an agricultural nation. Unfortunately Out of the total agricultural land nearly 83% of the land fall under the minimum or fragmented landholdings. This is a main challenge for the economic sustainability. We believe that women must come together & construct an economic path to uplift their lifestyle. So we are working for uniting them for beneficial and productive livelihood for their families.
Another lapse is hidden in the animal husbandry sector, where no proper policy is chalked out about the indigenous cattle breed development and conservation in all these years post freedom. However Annasaheb was very much insistent about indigenous animal rearing and having with us his glorified legacy we also do understand and emphasize the need for animal upgradation for the ATM purpose of the women farmer.
We know the women are the backbone of the family and they work hard selflessly for the betterment of their family. Also in rural area they have their own well organized and established structure in form of Women Self Help Group where they make all their trivial fiscal transactions honestly and consistently. We are hereby providing a working platform for them by inculcating entrepreneurship in them leading a strong women empowerment which will certainly upgrade her family lifestyle and also a growth in countries GDP
Challenges are always followed by Solutions and here the solution comes along with proper technology and proper implementation of it. We therefore work with enormous vigorously and dedicatedly in our capacity

As Annasaheb Shinde always said that Cooperation is the biggest strength. We need your cooperation for this noble cause. Hence we appeal to you to join us in this laudable mission through any form of service. We hereby request you to donate us as much as you can which would help us bringing a sustainable and beneficial life to them and their family through empowering women.
